We love the rough edges of this boxy crop top. Wear it over a favorite black dress or as a layering piece with other winter knits. And of course, wear it straight through till summer.
TOOLS & MATERIALS: white sweatshirt (one to two sizes larger than your regular size), white quilted fabric, sewing machine, scissors, pins
INSTRUCTIONS: Step 1: Remove ribbed collar, hem and sleeves from sweatshirt. Step 2: Figure out where to crop sweatshirt and cut a straight line across. Step 3: Cut front pattern out of quilted fabric 1/2” smaller on all sides. Repeat for back. Step 4: Sew around edge of quilted fabric on machine to finish off. Step 5: Stitch quilted fabric to front middle of sweatshirt. Repeat on back. Hand wash only.
Please note: Quilted fabric will prevent sweatshirt from stretching, so buy at least one size up for best fit and comfort.
