DIY Varsity Letter Tote Bag

TOOLS & MATERIALS: fabric varsity letter (new or vintage), tote bag, adhesive fabric hook-and-loop tape to match color of bag

INSTRUCTIONS: You lettered in great style, right? That's why we knew you'd appreciate this cool change-as-you-wish tote. Step 1: Apply fabric hook-and-loop tape to back of varsity letter according to instructions on package. (Note: If you'd like the versatility of replacing the letter with other patches from time to time, consider using multiple smaller pieces of fabric hook-and-loop tape rather than long strips.) Step 2: Place letter on bag in desired location and adhere according to package instructions. Step 3 (optional): If you wish, change out the look from the varsity letter to a collection of different patches. Express yourself!

DIY Bandage Basket

TOOLS & MATERIALS: roll of non-adhesive fabric bandage, open weave metal basket, metal bandage closures

INSTRUCTIONS: We think this basket is as carefree chic as it gets, and we love the thoughtful mix of textures. What's better? It's super simple. Step 1: Wrap bandage around basket, twisting and folding as you go according to your taste. Step 2: Fasten one or both ends with metal bandage closure. (We left one end free to preserve its sculptural nature.) Art containing life.
